Meet Sierra Votaw
Name: Sierra Votaw
Hometown: Sierra is from South Dakota, then moved to North Carolina when she was in high school.
Sport: Basketball (power forward – she’s one of the team captains at EFSC.
Studying: Elementary Education (she’d like to teach first or second grade)
Fun Facts
- Sierra grew up in a town of 400 people
- Her family owns hog farms
- She is a bee keeper for her high school basketball coach in North Carolina
- She wants to move back to the midwest after graduating
Life as a Titan Athlete
- Sierra came to EFSC for our head coach, MJ Baker
- She hits the practice court every morning from 7-9 AM
- Sierra is very close with the other players; the team feels like a family to her

- “Put in the time to get better – time on the court practicing and time in the classroom studying to improve your grades.”
